James B. Tomlinson has spent virtually all of his 20-year plus professional career in publishing, during which time he has worked in over 100 US communities, concentrating on the marketing and promotion of books about cities.

Jim worked for over a decade as a project manager for the much admired Urban Tapestry Series, where he thrived on coordinating civic and commercial entities in projects aimed at the betterment of their communities.
